Kimochis Australia, an initiative of Schools Ministry Group, is proud to announce that they are an approved supplier for the Preschool Boost set to roll out in South Australia in 2026. 

We believe that early education and understanding is key to lifelong wellbeing, providing the foundation for strong mental health, resilience, and healthy relationships. Through our proactive approach, using Kimochis®, we engage children in fun interactive ways empowering them to build these essential social and emotional skills. 

Our bundles will give you the confidence to implement Kimochis in your preschool.

    • A fun, interactive 30-minute live show featuring life sized Cat, music and dance for children and families

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the training?

Kimochis Foundation Training for Early Childhood is 6.5 hours in person, or 6 hours via zoom. Group zoom training can be scheduled as one 6 hour block, or 2 x 3 hour sessions by negotiation. Please contact us for more information.

Where is training located?

Kimochis training can be provided at Edwardstown, via zoom, or in certain circumstances at your site. We currently service metro Adelaide and surrounds in person. Other locations can be negotiated. Please contact us to discuss how we can serve your location. 

Do you offer in person training outside of SA?

Unfortunately, we do not yet have capacity to conduct in-person training outside of SA. We do, however, offer a quality zoom training.

What areas do you offer in person services?

Adelaide Metro, Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley, Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island, Yorke and Mid North, Limestone Coast, Murray and Mallee. Please contact us for travel and accommodation costs in regional areas.

Do I need to prepare anything for training?

There is some pre-training preparation for zoom training. This involves printing several resources and ensuring participants have access to a set of Kimochis® Feelings or a printed and cut set of Feelings Flash Cards (available to download after registration). 

There are no pre-training requirements for in person training. 

Can you run a Kimochis® Live Show outside of SA? 

Unfortunately, we do not have capacity to conduct a Live Show outside of SA.

How long does a Kimochis® Live Show go for?

An Early Childhood Kimochis® Live Show is 30 minutes. Our team will need time before and after the show to set up props and resources. 

A Primary School Kimochis® Live Show is 45 minutes. Our team will need time before and after the show to set up props and resources.

What is involved in a Kimochis Parent and Carer Workshop?

If in person, ideally you will schedule this 2-hour workshop around morning or afternoon tea. Once a date is set between your Centre and Kimochis Australia, you will need to promote and manage registrations for the event. Kimochis Australia will provide a trainer and materials on the day.

What will the coaching sessions look like?

Each bundle allows for 2 x 30 minute zoom coaching and implementation sessions as well as a 1 hour in person visit to your Centre (depending on your location). This 1 hour visit can be substituted for a further 1 hour zoom session with your team. The sessions will generally follow the following schedule:

  • Session 1 – Month 1-2 – Implementation 
  • Session 2 – Month 3-6 - Q&A 
  • On Site visit – by negotiation
